Several of our customers often say to me, when they are ordering a new box, "It caught my eye and I find myself being drawn back to it all of the time." I laugh to myself when they say this. That's what happens to me when I go to Market Week or The Gift Show. I look through a collection and then find that I am drawn back to certain of the boxes. That's how I determine what I am going to buy for positive. After that other things come into play but, always, the ones that I am drawn back to are absolute MUST HAVE boxes! If there isn't a category for them, a spot in an existing segment open to house them, then I have to buy others that will provide company for them. Boxes don't like living alone. They need companions. And nothing pleases me more than providing some for them. Like you, I love to buy boxes. I just do it on a larger scale than most of you although, I do have to say, we have a few customers who buy darned near as many as I buy. Below is a group that took me many months to put together. I found the first piece of it and loved it! It took a while but I found companions for it and here they are for you to enjoy.

The Tudor Collection. Not only is the design of these boxes unusual but the shapes of the boxes are wonderful! I just was completely smitten with them. Looking at them you can see immediately why they are called the Tudor Collection. There is something in the decor of the boxes that fairly shouts Tudor. Below is a portrait of Queen Elizabeth the First, Henry the Eighth's daughter by Ann Boleyn. Looking at that painting you can see why these are called Tudor. The patterns are not identical but one can certainly see a relationship in them. Aren't they marvelous? In my minds eye I can see Ann Boleyn with these or Jane Seymour or even ladies who did not lose their heads over Henry. The last Catherine didn't. She died after Henry was gone. NOTE: (All of these boxes share identical decor, clasp, interior motif and hinge design.)
