H. Frederick. So
named because I once saw a picture of Frederick the Great and this
cat looks just like him. It's plain to
see the bowl is empty. Isn't anyone going to feed me, the King? Retail:
Upwards of $185.00. Our price: $165.90.
I. Lana Thai,
Queen of Siam(ese). Her delicate blond
beauty and grace are a sight to behold. She is a beautiful example of
the breed and, as you can see, she is quite shy. The sculptor
of this
box captured the play of muscles in the cat's neck and back perfectly.
Holding this box in hand you can feel the shape of the body and,
as you
move the box, see the light and shadows where the cat's muscles are delineated.
A wonderful piece. A mouse for the clasp and inside another. Our
price: $193.90.

J. The Odd Couple! They
spend all of their time together. He's the neighborhood "Toff" patrolling
the back alleys and side yards and she follows along behind him flirting
with everyone she meets. Toff
and Tweetie, great favorites of mine. Retail: Upwards of $255.00. Our
price: $216.90.

K. Annabelle Lee. This very young Siamese is just as feminine as can be. She has ensconced herself on a pink velvet cushion and that's where she spends much of her time. She is wearing a pink satin bow around her neck, a real one, and inside the box is a ball of yarn, painted. She plays with that yarn by the hour. Isn't she the cutest little thing! Don't you just love kittens? Retail: About $175.00. Our price: $157.90.

L. Foggy. "Fog
steals in on the feet of a cat." An
appropriate quotation for this soft grey kitty who is the color of
fog.
The sculpting of this particular box is extremely well done. It is a
version of an older box, from perhaps 20-25 years ago. When I compared
them, this
one was much improved, better articulated and much more detailed. The
coloring of this particular box is very subtle and lovely. Inside,
a mouse!
Retail: Upwards of $173.00. Our price: $147.90. NOTE:
This box is a bit larger than the average box. More like boxes from
25
years ago, in size..

M. The Portrait of Miss
Lissie Box. Many years ago we had a cat,
Miss Lissie, who looked just like this cat. She was silvery with the
bluest eyes. She's long gone but when I saw this piece I thought
surely there
would be others who had silvery longhaired beauties who might like to
remember them with this box. Inside a ball of yarn and knitting
needles.
Lissie preferred balls of twine to yarn but I guess that's to each his
own. The clasp is unimportant to the box. Our price: $157.90.
Return Engagement.
N.
Amber and Onyx. Since
Amber had her last litter she's been treated like the queen she is. Here
on a gorgeous silk pillow with tassels--they
knew she would need something to play with and tassels are great for
shredding! Onyx is still very young and just starting to do jobs like
shredding so he stays close to Mama while she does this so he can learn.
It takes a bit of experience to get the shredding just right. You wouldn't
want him to be less than perfect at this very important task, would you?
Inside a spool of thread. Did somebody mention this cushion can be repaired?
Describing the box is really not necessary. It speaks for itself and
says, "Meow". The clasp is their ball. Our price: $187.90.
