Eggs from The House of Fabergé
We are delighted to be able to bring to you Fabergé Eggs made by
The House of Fabergé. The Eggs that we show will include both replicas
of the original Eggs and Eggs of today but all will be made by Fabergé.
The replicas will be as exact as possible with the substantive changes
being the use of 24 karat gold plate over sterling silver instead of gold
and Austrian crystals which will replace the precious gems. The crystals
will be hand-set in like settings to those used for the gems to ensure
the exactness of the reproduction.

A.
The American Freedom Egg Box. This box was designed as a tribute
to America and all Americans by The World of Fabergé. The exterior
of the Egg is midnight blue and it is incised with gold stars. The
box opens to reveal a 24 karat gold plated interior with the surprise
being a pair of American Flags with crossed staves. The clasp on this
piece is an heraldic shield. For purposes of display there is a tiny
gold rod that holds the lid in place so the interior is easily shown.
Each box is individually impressed with the box number and the name
Fabergé on the gold interior of the box. The box pictured is
number 61 of a limited edition. The Egg is 3 1/2 inches tall and 2

B. The
American Freedom Egg 2 with Statue of Liberty. This is second
edition of this egg, this one having The Statue of Liberty as the
surprise inside. She stands on a double base with the perimeter of
the base done similarly to the base at Bedloe¹s Island*, a multi-pointed
star.The clasp is the Romanov double eagle, the dynasty insignia.

C. The
Gatchina Palace Egg. On a white ground, a wreath design studded with
tiny flowers here and there. The egg which is 3 1/2 inches high
by 21/2 inches in diameter stands on a gold acanthus leaf footed base
for ease of display. Inside the egg, the wonderful surprise of a white
enamel Carousel Horse with gold mane, gold tack, faux emerald eyes
and ropes of faux rubies and emeralds draped from the saddle. The
clasp is the Romanov double eagle, the dynasty insignia. Retail: About

| D. The
Dove of Peace Egg. In onyx, a life sized egg sitting on a pedestal
with a base in gold plate and black enamel rising to a square surrounding
the pedestal shaft with the Romanov double eagle, the dynasty insignia,
on all four sides. Atop the Egg, a Gold Dove of Peace with an Olive
Branch held in it¹s beak. This egg does not open. Retail: About
