I. The Ski Lodge in Vail Box. Or Aspen, Sun Valley, or Deer Valley. I bought this box because the snow looked so real, the way the drifts were done. So real--I felt inspired to build a snowman--but I got over that in a hurry. Too cold to stay outside. (I got a little carried away. It was 80 degrees outside with brilliant sunshine. This is Southern California. What could I be thinking of?) This delightful little box has a huge Spruce tree covered with snow, tons of snow on the roof and you can see where a path has been shoveled leading to the front door. The whole box is done in relief so you can feel the snow drifts and the icy crusts where the sun has melted the snow and then nightfall turned it to ice. All of the detail on the house is done in relief and you can feel it when you handle the box. At any moment I am expecting smoke to rise from the chimney. J. A Toddler on Her Christmas Sled Box. I do have to say that no one does children better than Chamart. Remember "Hands Down, The Greatest Kid's Box Ever." That was Chamart as well and they have done just as great a job with this adorable little girl. Her face is perfect! A tiny little button of a nose, a rosebud of a mouth, great big dark eyes and her hair all askew the way kids get when they are playing. Her snowsuit is covered with snow so she's been out for a while. It is a good thing that she has mittens and boots on and notice, please, her mittens and boot tops are in matching Norwegian type design. Inside, her ski's, painted. The clasp is unimportant to the box.

K. The Igloo and The Polar Bear Box. (This is a tiny box, 1 3/4 inches in diameter and 1 1/2 inches high.) An Igloo that has a white polar bear peering out of the entry and wearing a red Santa hat! Open the box and there he is, dimensional, with his Christmas hat and tie on. It is simply adorable. I have always loved it and I guess quite few others love it as well because it has been a very successful box for us. We've carried it for 6 years now so it is an old familiar friend but for those of you who have not seen it before--It is Adorable!
